Key Responsibilities
- Break down garments into individual sewing operations
- Assist in determining Standard Minute Values (SMVs)
- Ensure practical and correct construction methods are followed
- Support line balancing based on style and production targets
- Allocate operations to machinists according to skill level
- Identify bottlenecks and assist with workflow improvements
- Assist with daily production planning and line loading
- Monitor production output against targets
- Highlight delays, inefficiencies, or production issues
- Coordinate with Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing teams
- Track efficiency, downtime, and production performance
- Maintain planning schedules and production records
- Provide feedback to the Production Manager on line performance

Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a clothing manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of garment construction and sewing operations
- Knowledge of factory production processes
- Exposure to line balancing and work study principles (SMVs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for planning and tracking
Remuneration
R15,000 – R20,000 CTC
