About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Chef Trainer to join our team at a 5-star resort in Tanzania. As a senior culinary leader, you will be responsible for overseeing culinary standards across multiple remote hospitality locations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and innovation in food delivery while respecting local culture, sustainability, and responsible sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revise and standardise 7-day menus, including lodge meals, bush picnics, and snacks
  • Develop and update special dietary menus and guest delight food concepts
  • Train chefs on food styling, presentation, menu costing, waste control, and storytelling
  • Implement kitchen standards and rotate across locations to upgrade food quality
  • Lead bush banqueting and special event food training
  • Collaborate with procurement to develop local suppliers

Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant culinary and hospitality experience
  • Higher Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Proven integrity, initiative, and commitment to world-class service
