About the Role
The Operations Manager – Solutions role at our client’s facility in Kempton Park is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to maintain operational performance, drive productivity and cost savings, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain discipline and measure staff performance
- Maintain equipment and facility
- Ensure clients’ needs and expectations are consistently met within the scope of the service agreement
- Actively manage daily operational performance to consistently achieve performance metric targets
- Plan and implement cycle counts, ABC analysis counting, and various other processes in line with KPI and contractual obligations
- Control, action, investigate, and complete CAPA documents as needed
- Create and maintain various reports in line with KPI and contractual obligations
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Build and maintain supplier relationships through daily, weekly, and monthly inbound and outbound meetings with the client
- Monitor and correct inadequate or inappropriate inventory to meet sales demands
- Control material master and bin master updates and actions as required
- Manage facility maintenance and cleaning
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- 3-5 years experience in Warehouse management and Inventory management
- Advance knowledge of WMS – Cargowrite
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
