Job Description

Details of primary duties and responsibilities Process sales quotations and sales orders, Maintain and update sales- and customer records, update job cards on system Check data accuracy in respect of quotes and orders. Monitor sales and distribution of spare parts to workshop, dealers, and customers Provide technical support MANAGE BUYING AND PROCUEMENT OF SPARE PARTS Liaise with the Logistics/Technical department to ensure timely deliveries. Process and track purchase orders. Liaise with current and new local suppliers. Ensure accurate ordering, receiving, pricing, and issuing of parts INVENTORY CONTROL Manage spare parts inventory to ensure optimum stock levels and timely availability Manage inventory turnover, and reduce waste. Updating of pricing in IQ Retail. EXTENSIVE CLIENT LIAISON AND SALES Contact clients to obtain missing information, Resolve parts-related queries efficiently Communicate important feedback from customers internally. Follow the company’s standard operating procedures (i.e., payment terms, etc.). Answering phone calls. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES: The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum of 5 years’ Proven Track record in administrative and Parts sales experience within the Boating or Marine industry. Grade 12 qualification Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player-attitude. Meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure. Proactive mindset. MS Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, etc.). IQ Retail experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships. Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Own and reliable transportation. Well-presented appearance. As the job holder will be required to deal with customers, they will be expected to represent the organisation positively. HOURS OF WORK AND SALARY PACKAGE: Working hours: 08h00 to 17h00 (Monday to Friday). 08h00 to 13h00(Saturdays) Basic Salary: To be agreed and negotiated, depending on experience, etc. If you’re organised, customer-focused, and ready to lead a results-driven parts department, this role is an excellent fit.
