? Assistant Lodge Manager Luxury Lodge ? Kruger National Park ? Salary: Negotiable DOE | Live-in Role Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager for a luxury lodge located within the Kruger National Park. This hands-on role supports the Lodge Manager in overseeing all operational aspects while ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a premium safari environment. ? Minimum Requirements: Minimum 4 years hospitality experience, including 2 years in a senior or assistant management role within a 5-star lodge or hotel Strong Food & Beverage knowledge Financial management competency, including stock and order control Passion for delivering exceptional guest service Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergies Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); additional languages advantageous Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) Understanding of basic labour law and disciplinary procedures South African citizenship or valid work visa ? Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lodge Manager in daily operational management of the lodge Deliver personalised, high-standard guest experiences Train, manage, and develop lodge staff in line with service standards Maintain housekeeping, maintenance, and garden standards to preserve lodge aesthetics Oversee financial administration including stock control and orders Manage concierge and reception administration Maintain and update guest databases to enhance service delivery Ensure all guest areas and operational spaces are clean, organised, and presentable Uphold quality and care of lodge equipment and products Actively support and communicate the lodges conservation objectives Perform additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork ? Personal Attributes: Strong leadership, management, and communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities Calm, resourceful, and solutions-driven under pressure Cooperative, flexible, and committed to staff development Positive, approachable, and guest-focused Live-in accommodation provided.
