Job Description
As a Credit & Pricing Analyst you will be a key contributor within the commercial team, helping to shape credit strategy and support sustainable growth across multiple markets. Reporting to the Group Head of Credit, you will apply advanced analytical techniques to evaluate credit performance, develop pricing strategies, and deliver insights that strengthen portfolio performance and long-term profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models to support profitability and strategic pricing decisions.
- Build forecasting models to predict repayment behaviour, credit risk, and overall portfolio performance.
- Analyse customer and behavioural data to strengthen credit scorecards and risk segmentation strategies.
- Monitor credit portfolio performance and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business and commercial decision-making.
- Work closely with operations, sales, and country teams to ensure effective implementation of credit strategies.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing and credit policy changes.
- Support the optimisation of automated underwriting and credit decision systems.
- Apply analytical and machine learning techniques to improve risk assessment and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python or R (pandas, scikit-learn, seaborn, etc.).
- Experience building credit scorecards, pricing models, or financial forecasting tools.
- Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Willingness to travel to operating markets and collaborate with local teams.
- 2-5 years’ experience in credit risk, pricing, data science, or related roles (fintech/lending preferred).
