About the Role
ESG Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer/Setter to join our team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming and setting CNC Milling Machines, as well as quality control expertise. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings and manufacturing sizes to ensure parts meet visual quality standards.
- Identify machining requirements and set-up equipment and jigs for CNC Milling Machines.
- Program and set CNC Milling Machines without assistance.
- Ensure parts manufactured meet dimensional and visual drawing requirements.
- Select and accurately use measuring equipment (bore and external micrometers, groove measurement).
- Meet set-up and production targets and efficiencies.
Requirements
- At least 5-year experience in CNC Milling Machine setting and programming.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with ISO standards is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Must be a trade-tested machinist/millwright.
- Interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication and collaboration.
- Reliable and able to manage time effectively.
