About the Role
The Emalahleni MP: Trainee Manager – Retail/FMCG role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Manager in the Retail/FMCG department. As a Trainee Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the store and contributing to its overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and processing of goods
- Manage cash office operations
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Support sales floor activities
- Develop and implement operational plans
- Analyze sales data and provide insights for improvement
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
- At least 5 years experience in Retail/FMCG across departments (receiving, cash office, administration, sales floor)
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven leadership abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, relevant Retail/FMCG qualifications are advantageous.
