About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of our retail management team, working closely with senior management to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. As a Trainee Manager in Retail/FMCG, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations, including receiving, cash office, administration, and sales floor functions
- Provide support to senior management with business planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve sales targets and improve customer engagement
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
- At least 5 years experience in Retail/FMCG across departments
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
