About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Executive Officer Security (GP). As a key member of our executive leadership, you will provide strong, ethical, and visionary leadership to the Security Division, driving growth, profitability, and market leadership in a regulated, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, ethical, and visionary leadership to the Security Division.
- Define and execute the division’s strategic direction in alignment with our client’s objectives.
- Ensure sound corporate governance, risk oversight, and adherence to company policies.
- Represent the Security Division at executive, board, and industry levels.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
- Identify new market opportunities, service enhancements, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee all security operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain executive-level client and stakeholder relationships.
- Assume full P&L responsibility, manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
- Ensure compliance with security legislation, PSIRA, labour laws, and industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing executive and senior management team.
- Drive adoption of security technologies, innovation, and digital solutions.
- Provide strategic, financial, and operational reports to the Executive Group and Board.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Extensive executive leadership experience within the security industry.
- Proven success in leading large, multi-site security operations.
- Strong knowledge of security legislation, PSIRA compliance, and risk management.
- Demonstrated track record in business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Executive leadership and board-level presence.
- Strategic, commercial, and financial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder, client relationship management, and communication skills.
- Change leadership, transformation, and high-level decision-making capabilities.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary: R100 000 – R180000 per month, depending on experience & qualification. (Negotiable)
