About the Role
Communicate Finance is seeking a skilled C++ Developer to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using C++. If you have a passion for determinism and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Implement memory layouts, interrupt handling, RTOS scheduling, and concurrency in embedded systems
- Troubleshoot issues with microcontrollers, datasheets, and hardware errata
- Utilize JTAG, oscilloscopes, or other debugging tools to resolve complex problems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Years of hard-won experience in embedded C++ (C++11 and beyond)
- Mastery of memory layouts, interrupt handling, RTOS scheduling, and concurrency
- Intimate familiarity with microcontrollers, datasheets, and hardware errata
