About the Role

Hire Resolve, a Johannesburg-based IT services and consulting firm specializing in custom software development, AI integration, and lean startup methodologies, is seeking a Project Manager for a 36 months (3 years) contract. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee technical projects within an integrated technology development studio, applying PRINCE2 principles to manage project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply PRINCE2 principles to manage project lifecycles, ensuring clear documentation, stage-gate approvals, and risk management.
  • Align project delivery with ITIL best practices to ensure seamless transition from project phase to operational support.
  • Act as the primary interface between stakeholders and technical teams (Developers, DevOps, and QA) to define scopes and timelines.
  • Utilize Office 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner) to maintain project schedules, track milestones, and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Ensure all digital products and software solutions meet the client’s functional requirements and technical standards.

Requirements

  • Education: A 3-year IT-related qualification (Diploma or Degree).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience specifically within an IT environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience applying PRINCE2 methodology.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within an ITIL framework.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing Office 365 for project coordination and reporting.
  • Expertise in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Proficiency in structured project management software.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and digital product ecosystems.

Salary & Benefits

R520 – R750 per hour based on skills/experience
