Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Drill Rigg Mechanic to join our team in Postmasburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on drill rigs or similar heavy mining equipment, with a strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drill rigs and other heavy mining equipment
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of drilling equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic
- Minimum 35 years experience working on drill rigs or similar heavy mining equipment
- Experience in a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
