About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to lead our actuarial team and drive business growth through data-driven insights. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable recommendations, managing team performance, and driving continuous improvement within our actuarial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of actuarial analysts, supporting both technical and professional growth
- Translate business needs into actuarial models, pricing strategies, and actionable insights
- Oversee model development, deployment, testing, and ongoing performance monitoring
- Partner with stakeholders across actuarial and business teams to deliver clear, impactful recommendations
- Conduct data analysis and ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with financials
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and innovation within actuarial processes
- Present insights and results to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Manage team performance, delivery timelines, and overall output quality
Requirements
- BSc / Honours Degree in Actuarial Science
- Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (ASSA)
- 4+ years’ experience within short-term / general insurance
- 1+ years’ experience managing a team
- Strong technical modelling and analytical skills
- Experience working with actuarial or statistical modelling tools
