About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Repairs & Returns Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our repair and returns process, you will be responsible for inspecting returned products, performing technical fault diagnosis, and repairing products where possible. If you have a passion for electrical and electronic fault finding, and excellent technical skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Inspection and Repairs
Inspect returned products and perform technical fault diagnosis
Repair products where possible and determine root cause of failure
Evaluate product failures and provide detailed technical reports
Assist with technical evaluation of new products and NRCS compliance requirements
Support NRCS certification testing processes

Field Support, Site Inspection and Technical Reporting
Attend installation sites where Clients’ products are installed, when required
Inspect installed lighting fittings, drivers, wiring, and associated components
Identify and diagnose installation faults, product faults, electrical supply issues, or external causes
Assess installation quality and compliance with product specifications and electrical standards
Identify incorrect installation practices that may affect product performance or safety

Requirements

South African citizen with valid South African ID, residing in Johannesburg
Matric certificate, tertiary technical qualification advantageous
Valid South African driver’s license and reliable transport
Willing and able to travel to installation sites when required
