Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
- Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
- Oversee VAT, income tax, and related submissions
- Provide financial input on projects, costing, and capital expenditure
- Partner with operational teams to support business decision-making
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and financial risk management
- Lead and develop members of the finance team
Experience
- CA(SA) qualification essential
- 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in a finance management role
- Industry exposure to Renewable Energy or Engineering preferred
- Experience working in project-based or asset-heavy environments advantageous
Skills
- Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise
- Solid understanding of project costing and financial analysis
- Commercial mindset with strategic thinking ability
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
