About the Role
We are seeking experienced Riggers to join our team in Middelburg. As a Rigger, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting and preparing rigging equipment
- Attaching loads to cranes
- Signaling crane operators during lifting operations
- Ensuring load balance and security
- Calculating load weights
- Following safety procedures
- Inspecting and maintaining rigging gear
- Assisting with heavy equipment assembly/disassembly
- Identifying hazards
- Stopping unsafe operations
Requirements
- Rigger Trade Test Certificate
- Matric qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of rigging experience

- Formal education/certifications not specified
