About the Role

We are seeking experienced Riggers to join our team in Middelburg. As a Rigger, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting and preparing rigging equipment
• Attaching loads to cranes
• Signaling crane operators during lifting operations
• Ensuring load balance and security
• Calculating load weights
• Following safety procedures
• Inspecting and maintaining rigging gear
• Assisting with heavy equipment assembly/disassembly
• Identifying hazards
• Stopping unsafe operations

Requirements

• Rigger Trade Test Certificate
• Matric qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of rigging experience
