Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Monitor WhatsApp groups and respond in real time
- Inform problem/issues to the relevant department or transporters
- Ensure scanning issues are resolved on Nimbus
- Ensure that communication is maintained with all transporters and staff
- Coordinate, monitor and record all communication from various sites
- Create and maintain register on all issues per site, transporter, FEL downtimes, etc.
- Report to coal ops on extended waiting periods at the port, weighbridges, mines, etc.
- Be the first contact in case of emergencies
- Inform relevant key stakeholders within the company of emergencies
- Ensure ticket system is maintained and updated at all times
Requirements:
- A Grade 12 (Matric)
- Tertiary qualification is preferred
- 2years experience in a logistics or transportation environment
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of logistics software systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Ability to work shifts
