Job Summary
Minimum Requirements
- Essential: Matric.
- Relevant qualification in Paralegal studies would be highly beneficial.
- Essential: Minimum of 7 years of experience with liquidations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Composing letters, Section 129 notices, demand letters, Section 345 notices, and Section 69 notices.
- Preparing Combined Summons, Particulars of Claim, and Notices of Opposition to Mediation, as well as applications for case numbers.
- Writing Default Judgment Applications, Compliance Statements, Date Applications, and Notices of Set Down.
- Creating Writs of Execution against movable assets, banks, and specific bank accounts.
- Preparing Subpoenas directed at banks.
- Drafting Declarations.
- Writing Powers of Attorney (POA), Settlement Agreements, and Acknowledgements of Debt.
- Producing Sale in Execution documents, including notices and conditions, and organising publications in local newspapers and the Government Gazette.
- Composing instruction letters for sheriffs, correspondent attorneys, tracers, and couriers for required services.
