Job Summary
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Design and evaluate pavement structures for various transportation projects. Conduct site investigations and assessments to determine soil and material properties. Utilize pavement design software to model and analyse pavement performance. Collaborate with project teams to develop specifications, plans, and construction documents. Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with design standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance evaluations and develop pavement management plans. Analyse traffic patterns and environmental impacts to inform design decisions. Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and clients. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (BEng, BSc or BTech). Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA; Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in pavement engineering, with a solid portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in pavement design software such as AASHTO, KENPAVE, or similar tools. Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and pavement management systems. Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
