Job Summary

Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a Tax Assistant based in Johannesburg (JHB). Our client, a well-established accounting firm, is looking for a dedicated Tax Assistant to support their tax department in providing outstanding tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals and corporations
Support tax planning initiatives and research on various tax issues
Maintain accurate records and files for tax-related documentation
Communicate with clients regarding their tax matters and provide excellent client service
Collaborate with senior tax professionals on audit responses and compliance reviews
Stay updated on the latest changes in tax regulations and guidelines

Requirements

Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Some experience in tax or accounting is preferred but not mandatory
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of tax principles and legislation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Benefits

Salary:

R17 500,00 – R20 000 per month
