Job Summary
Job descriptionDuties & Responsibilities (but not limited to)Plan, prepare and manage all project resources.Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using various welding techniquesSupervise on-site team and projects.Perform site inspections.Experience and knowledge within the steel industry is a prerequisite.Liaise with clients on the progress of sites.Operate welding equipment to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positionsEnsure site has necessary consumable and manage consumables effectively.Ensures resources are used effectively so that maximum productivity is achieved.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsEnsure that correct standard operating procedures are adhered to.Manage all administrative processes as required.Submit progress reports to management.Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasksSkills & AbilitiesMatric Certificate or equivalent.Proven experience as a welder or similar roleProduction Management qualification.Drivers Licence.3 or more years experience in Welding or Site Supervision.Knowledge of Steel IndustryTime management and organizational skillsReport writingProduction leadership skillsExcellent standards in executionForward CV to: Container Structures
