Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client is looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will perform repair and preventative maintenance on lifting equipment, ensuring its safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with lifting equipment maintenance, electrical skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and preventative maintenance on various types of lifting equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely
- Work closely with the operations team to identify and address maintenance needs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role
- Experience with repairing and maintaining lifting equipment
- Preferred qualifications include LMI / LTI certification
- Electrical experience is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
