Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct all incoming calls efficiently and professionally.
- Assist guests with queries, reservations, and requests over the phone.
- Coordinate with various hotel departments (housekeeping, room service, maintenance) to ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Handle emergency calls and communicate effectively with relevant personnel.
- Provide information about the hotel’s services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Log and relay messages accurately to guests and hotel staff.
- Maintain knowledge of room availability and booking statuses.
- Ensure all phone communications follow the hotel`s standards for etiquette and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service or switchboard role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Polite, patient, and service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with basic computer systems and switchboard software.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations.
