Job Summary

Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in reservations within the hospitality industry
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of PAN Hospitality software preferred
- Microsoft Excel proficiency is advantageous
- Must have excellent communication skills in English (Written and Verbal)
- Should have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Should be willing to work in a remote, lodge-based setting
- Must have excellent customer service skills
Duties:
- Managing the reservations process from start to finish
- Ensuring that lodge accommodations and experiences are sold in a way that maximises revenue whilst exceeding guest expectations
- Building relationships with tour operators and travel advisors by providing accurate, detailed information that serves their guests in a timely manner
- Optimising conversion rates of enquiries into bookings
- Developing bespoke itineraries for VIPs and themed trips
- Overseeing dissemination of correct rates and booking terms and conditions on online platforms
- Regular reporting on sales, income due, new business, enquiries and booking releases
- General office and administrative duties related to the smooth running of the reservations office
