Job Summary
Minimum Requirement Matric plus N4 in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting. Completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner. A recognized Trade Test certificate, Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner. At least 5 years heavy industrial fitting experience . Good knowledge & experience of process operations and maintenance of centrifugals, vacuum pumps, positive displacement pumps, screw conveyors, dryers, gearboxes, fans, and bucket elevators. A good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. A specific knowledge of Rawhouse equipment. Good fault-finding / problem solving skills. A good understanding of condition based monitoring and modern alignment. Conversant with planned maintenance system will be an added advantage. Basic rigging and welding experience will be an added advantage.
