Job Summary

We are an award winning production agency and shop-fitting company, with full in-house production, and we have an exciting position opening up.As a Large Format Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining large format printing equipment to produce high-quality prints for various purposes such as signage, banners, posters, displays, and more. You will work closely with designers to ensure that print jobs meet quality standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Operate large format printing equipment, such as digital printers and plotters.Prepare and set up printing jobs, including loading media, adjusting settings, and performing test prints.Monitor print quality to ensure accurate colours, sharpness, and alignment.Maintain and calibrate printing equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment.Handle and maintain an inventory of printing supplies, including ink, media rolls, and cleaning materials.Collaborate with designers.Keep detailed records of print jobs Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in printing technology is a plus.Proven experience as a large format print operator in a printing environment.Knowledge of colour management, colour profiling, print settings, and RIP software.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.General DTP Skill Adobe Suite.
