Job Summary

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Consultant / Tax Accountant / Tax Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with SARS regulations, and proficiently using eFiling to process and manage tax documentation. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance and Submissions: Prepare and submit tax returns (individual, corporate, VAT, PAYE, etc.) using SARS eFiling. Ensure compliance with all SARS deadlines and regulations. Manage objections, appeals, and SARS correspondence. Tax Administration: Maintain accurate tax records and documentation. Assist with tax clearance applications and compliance status verification. Perform reconciliations for VAT and PAYE accounts. Client Interaction: Advise clients on tax regulations and compliance requirements. Address tax-related queries and resolve disputes with SARS. Reporting and Audits: Assist with tax audits and verifications. Provide reports on tax obligations and payments. Key Requirements Qualifications: Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field. Registered Tax Practitioner (preferred). Experience: 2 years of experience in tax consulting or administration. Proficiency in SARS eFiling and working knowledge of tax legislation. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
