Responsibilities:
- Lead design and drafting for flat laser operations.
- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics.
- Program and manage flat laser machine queries.
- Handle client requests and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Mentor machine operators and develop training materials.
- Organize and manage documentation for easy retrieval.
- Generate and validate complex 3D models and simulations.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Track and manage design data, project timelines, and budgets.
- Integrate design workflows with ERP systems for streamlined production.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Certificate in CAD/SolidWorks.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Draughtsperson in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in operating and programming laser cutting machines.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on laser cutting machines.
- Understanding of steel plates, material grades, and industrial applications.
- Knowledge of CNC systems for laser cutting.
- Familiarity with software such as Excel, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, BySoft, SigmaNest, and E-Track.
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards and machinery operation regulations.
