Job Summary
The Finance Team Leader will support the Financial Manager in overseeing all financial transactions including co-ordinating the finance team in their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure the accurate and timely accounting of financial transactions while playing a role in Reporting & Forecasting the financial performance of the company.Qualifying criteria:- NQF level 5 and higher in finance, economics or similar field;- 2 years or more of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.- Strong skills in accounting software (Xero is an advantage) with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail-orientated with good decision making and time management skills.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels.
Responsibilities:
-Weekly & Monthly revenue billing- Management of debtors book- Full bank reconciliations- Receivables & Payables account reconciliations- Daily & weekly payment remittance submissions to FM- Relationship management with client`s payment teams- Support in efficient integration of operations & finance team tasks- Assist in managing the performance of the finance team, ensuring productivity and compliance with team objectives.- Review adequacy of internal financial controls of the team- Analyse variances between budgeted and actual financial performance.
