Our client is recruiting for a reliable and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their yard, ensuring that products are organized, stock is managed, and customer needs are met efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will lead a team, maintain a safe and well-organized yard, and ensure smooth operations to support their customers and sales team. Requirements:

Matric Computer literate (Word, Excel and Outlook) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Good people skills Fluent in Afrikaans and English Own transport Drivers’ license Minimum 2 years` experience in a similar role Handyman technical skills Experience in DIY or hardware environment Required skills: Sales Customer service Management Technical assistance Accuracy Numeracy Attention to detail Organization Time-management Duties will include: Sales & Customer service: Technical assistance/advice to clients Quotes with technical calculations Follow up on quotations Yard: Yard packing/display General maintenance Management of yard staff (5 people) Fleet management: Maintenance Fuel management Deliveries Pre-Packs: Pre-pack packing Management of staff Remuneration: R 12 000 – R 15 000 basic, depending on experience IMPORTANT: Applications close 6 December 2024 If you do not receive feedback within 14 days, your application is unsuccessful Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client`s minimum requirements will be contacted
