Job Summary

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor with 10 years of experience in oil, gas, and construction projects . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the construction process, ensuring safety compliance, and managing day-to-day operations on site. This position is based in Saudi Arabia , and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction teams, contractors, and ensuring that all activities are completed on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities : Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on-site for oil, gas, and construction projects. Ensure that all construction work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and industry standards, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage and monitor subcontractors, laborers, and equipment on site, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources. Ensure all construction activities meet quality control standards and are completed within the scheduled time frame. Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure construction aligns with project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve any on-site issues or changes to the scope of work. Conduct daily site inspections to assess the progress of construction and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Enforce and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and ensure that all safety equipment is used correctly. Report on construction progress, delays, and risks, ensuring that the project timeline and budget are being adhered to. Monitor work to ensure that work schedules are being followed and that all milestones are achieved on time. Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues promptly to prevent project delays and cost overruns. Maintain records of daily activities, materials used, work performed, and other essential construction documentation. Review and approve daily work reports, time sheets, and progress reports submitted by contractors and workers. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior supervisors and other staff on best construction practices and safety protocols. Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment for the project. Participate in project meetings and provide feedback and recommendations to project managers to improve the construction process. Prepare for and participate in safety audits, inspections, and quality control checks. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture on the construction site. Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 10 years of hands-on experience as a Construction Supervisor in oil, gas , and construction projects. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate construction teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to resolve construction issues efficiently. Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and project management tools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with project managers, engineers, and contractors. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Knowledge of local regulations, safety codes, and industry standards in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East . Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Preferred Skills : Certifications such as NEBOSH , IOSH , or equivalent in safety management. Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a significant advantage.
