Job Summary
Leading plastics packaging company requires an experienced Blow Mould Setter (PET) for their plant in Cape Town`s southern suburbs. Money on offer:- To R21 000 basic +shift allowance +overtime +benefits
Responsibilities:
– Assisting in achieving production efficiencies of + 80%- Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained- Setting of machines according to best practices- Conducting mould, label changes and material trials as required- Assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements- Ensuring that top quality products are produced according to specifications- Making sure that machinery, moulds and change parts are effectively maintained, serviced and stored- Ensuring that company procedures are adhered to- Practicing a high standard of Housekeeping and Safety- Attending to breakdowns/callouts as neededRequirements for position:- Matric or N3 Engineering- 5 years minimum experience in PET production environment- Minimum 5 years experience in two-stage stretch blow moulding preferred (but will consider other blow moulding)- Self-adhesive label experience advantageous – Mechanical aptitude – Strong communication skillsContact Scott on McKessar Recruitment
