About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Camp Manager to join our well-established tented safari camp in the Greater Kruger, Mpumalanga region. As a hands-on leader with strong operational insight and exceptional organisational ability, you will oversee the full guest experience, ensure smooth lodge operations, and lead a diverse team within one of South Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the smooth running of the lodge (FOH & BOH)
• Ensuring strict adherence to company protocols and procedures
• Leading, mentoring, and developing staff across all departments
• Ensuring guest accommodation is fully prepared prior to arrival
• Welcoming, briefing, and hosting guests throughout their stay
• Delivering an exceptional guest experience aligned with brand standards
• Managing HR and administrative functions

Requirements

• Strong, firm, and honest character with high integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic camp environment
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of ±35 staff
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Ability to maintain oversight, prioritize effectively, and uphold operational standards
• Confident communicator with a guest-centric mindset

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or safari lodge management experience advantageous (no formal education/certifications mentioned)

Salary & Benefits

Package Salary: R 15 000 – R 25 000 pm DOE
