Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute work schedules for identifying and marketing to prospective customers.
- Daily monitoring, collating, and analyzing corporate collections reports.
- Manage and engage with distributors and sub-distributors.
- Conduct joint calls with the relationship team to corporate clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance collection volumes.
- Implement innovative solutions to improve collection processes.
- Assist in preparing management information reports.
- Develop product papers for corporates and their distributors (Distributor Credit Programs).
- Sign on new distributors and sub-distributors.
- Follow up on facility booking processes.
- Maintain positive public relations with current and prospective customers.
- Plan and report on marketing calls for the assigned portfolio.
- Structure trade and working capital facilities to meet customer needs.
- Monitor customer compliance with agreed terms and support credit committee proposals.
- Negotiate fees and interest rates within bank limits to maximize profitability.
- Track sales performance against set targets and contribute to the unit’s annual budget.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager and Head of GTS.
Qualifications:
- A good first degree in any discipline.
- Professional certification in Cash Management and/or Trade Finance is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience, preferably in banking or a financial institution.
