Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:Perform physical climbing inspections of telecom towers and structures.Conduct detailed integrity audits of steel components, including corrosion checks, weld inspections, and assessment of structural wear and tear.Verify tower dimensions and alignment against engineering drawings and specifications.Inspect and document the condition and installation of RF equipment (antennas, feeders, remote radio units, etc.).Record and report findings with detailed photographic evidence and site sketches where required.Complete structural audit reports, including risk assessments and recommended remedial actions.Identify safety risks and non-compliance issues during inspections.Ensure all inspection work adheres to health and safety regulations, including working-at-heights protocols.Collaborate with engineering teams regarding site conditions and structural concerns.Attend client meetings as required to discuss site findings and recommendations.Minimum Requirements:Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tower climbing or telecom site inspections.Working-at-heights certification (mandatory).RF Awareness Training (preferred).Experience with structural inspections or auditing processes.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts.Strong reporting and documentation skills.Physically fit and medically cleared for tower climbing.
