About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled HSE Officer to join our team in Asia. As an Expat, you will be working with us as a representative of South African citizens. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols in mining or construction (underground/open-pit) or industrial environments.
• Manage and maintain compliance with ISO standards (14001/45001).
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe working practices.

Requirements

• A Full Grade 12 Certificate and a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or NEBOSH International Certificate.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mining or construction (underground/open-pit) or industrial environment.
• Specialized training in risk management, accident investigation, and ISO standards (14001/45001).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Formal education/certifications: A Full Grade 12 Certificate and a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or NEBOSH International Certificate.
