Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their mining operation based in Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Develop short-, medium-, and long-term infrastructure, maintenance, skills, and utility plans to support operational objectives across multiple work areas.
• Drive and support the implementation of engineering systems, processes, and standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, design/redesign systems, and implement initiatives to support continuous business improvement.
• Coordinate the planning and preparation of short- and medium-term engineering working costs, capital budgets, and business plans to achieve long-term operational objectives.
• Monitor legislative changes, ensure timely implementation, and maintain compliance within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with engineering systems and audits as required by applicable regulations.
• Implement measures to continuously improve safety, health, and environmental conditions in the workplace.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines & Works
• 10 years’ experience as an Engineer in a 2.13.1 legal appointment
• ECSA Registration (Advantageous)
• Valid Driver’s License
