Job Summary
Our client is one of the most prestigious wineries in the world, and they are looking for a Barman to join their team in Cape Town – Stellenbosch. If you are vibrant individual who can provide guests with an excellent drinking experience, who will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers` needs and experiences then this position is for you.
Requirements:
Preferably 3 years previous experience as a Barman Ability to travel to and from the property for late shifts as required Passionate about the hospitality industry Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, written and verbal (in person and telephonic); Strong customer service orientation with excellent people skills; Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments and across cultures and religions; Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele; Desired Skills and Responsibilties: Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations; Maintain standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all bar areas; Check drinks presentations and temperature to make sure of its quality; Ensure everything in the bar is set-up and ready for service, including the coffee stations and all machines; Assist management in taking bar stock Honesty, flexibility, accountability and friendliness; Professional manner and attitude; Punctual & self-disciplined; Extreme attention to detail; Basic computer and administration skills
