About the Role
FROGG Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled HR Officer to join our FMCG client in Brackenfell, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes, including job posting, interviewing, and making offers
- Address employee inquiries, resolve grievances, and implement disciplinary procedures
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Organize and deliver training programs, including new hire onboarding
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems
- Promote employee engagement through various initiatives, such as team building and awards programs
- Participate in succession planning activities to ensure a smooth transition of leadership roles
- Generate reports on key HR metrics, such as recruitment, turnover, and training participation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- 5 years relevant experience in HR within the FMCG / FMCG food or a similar industry
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws is also necessary
