SENIOR HAIR & COLOR STYLIST TYGERVALLEY (Bellville) – Northern Suburbs (Western-Cape), ZA START: 01 March 2025 / A.S.A.P TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS: Monday – Saturday 09:00 – 18:00 (including lunch) 1x Long Weekend off per month (Sat, Sun & Mon) Days off alternate Sunday & Monday/Sunday & Tuesday REPORTS TO: Owner EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS: Market Related Basic – based on experience & skills acquired Service Commission (targeted) Retail Commission (targeted) Incentives & Performance Bonuses Employee Medical Insurance Benefit Option Travel/Parking Allowance Benefit Pension Fund Benefit option Tips / Gratuities MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Certified Hair Styling or Cosmetology Trade-Certified At least 5 years experience in a high-end salon, day spa or ship environment Cut, Colour and Style confident Able to style male & female clients TECHNICAL SKILLS: Thorough understanding of current trends in hair Ability to develop rapport with clients, and to understand and help them explain/clarify complex/specific requests. Balayage, Colour, Highlights, Colour corrections Blow dry – all types of hair Experience with EHP is a bonus KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Able to assist multiple clients simultaneously Retail confident, comfortable with recommendations Comfortable with client education Confidently re-book clients Strong team-dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision Confident and Kind Bonus to have knowledge/interest in low-tox living
