Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
– Conduct impact strength testing, resistance to chipping tests, water absorption testing, and resistance to thermal shock tests to ensure product durability and reliability. – Perform viscosity checks and quality checks of materials to maintain product consistency and quality standards. – Utilize your expertise in analytical chemistry to analyze and interpret test results accurately. – Maintain meticulous records of testing procedures, results, and observations. – Collaborate with colleagues to identify and troubleshoot quality issues. – Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and laboratory protocols. Qualifications: – Diploma or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or a related field. – Proven experience as a Quality Control Analyst preferred. – Strong understanding of impact strength testing, resistance testing, water absorption testing, and thermal shock testing methodologies. – Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. – Proficiency in computer software for data analysis and report generation. – Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred skills: Strong communication skills ( English & Afrikaans ) Ability to multi-task Ability to think analytically and critically Good problem solving skills Enjoy learning and growing Strong desire to work in a laboratory setting Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
