Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Alarm Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm and security systems, with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring that all systems are fully operational and meet industry standards. Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Valid drivers license (Code B)
• Own vehicle
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• PSIRA registered (Grade C or higher)
• Minimum 23 years experience as an Alarm Technician
• Experience with IDS, Paradox, DSC, Texecom, Jablotron, Ajax, Hikvision/Dahua integration
• Standby / after-hours callouts when required

Required skills:

• Programming of all types of Alarm Systems
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams
• Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills
• Neat and professional appearance at all times
• Must be reliable, honest, and trustworthy

Key responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and programming of alarm systems (wired and wireless)
• Fault-finding and repairs on alarm, panic, and security communication systems
• Installation and integration with CCTV, access control, and monitoring platforms
• Working with GSM/radio transmitters, app-based systems, and control room integrations
• Completing job cards, site reports, and technical documentation accurately
• Providing professional client support and system training where required
• Ensuring all installations comply with company standards and safety regulations

Remuneration:

R 10 000 – R 15 000, based on experience
