Job Description
Our client, a leading company in the meat industry, is seeking a reliable and versatile Maintenance Technician fluent in Afrikaans and English. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding, plumbing, and electrical work to maintain equipment, machinery, and facilities essential to smooth operations in a fast-paced production environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks safely and efficiently
- Execute general plumbing work including installations and repairs
- Conduct general electrical work, including knowledge of breaker replacement and conduit installation
- Maintain and repair equipment and building systems as required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Previous experience in welding, plumbing, and electrical work
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Remuneration:
R12 000 – R15 000 basic salary
