ABOUT THE ROLE As the Therapy Lead, you will support the day-to-day coordination of the interdisciplinary therapy team (including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy). You will help ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based rehabilitation care and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. This role is primarily clinically focused, with responsibility for supporting team functioning, maintaining care standards, and contributing to quality outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide day-to-day clinical support and guidance to members of the therapy team. Assist in coordinating patient treatment plans within the interdisciplinary team. Support the monitoring of patient progress and therapy outcomes. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the onboarding, mentoring, and development of therapy team members. Work collaboratively with nursing, medical, and support teams to deliver integrated care. Engage with patients and families to support participation in rehabilitation programmes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Up-to-date registration with the HPCSA (independent practitioner) as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. Proven experience in the rehabilitation of neurological, orthopaedic, and spinal cord conditions. Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.
