<p><span style="color:black;">Casual dining </span><strong><span style="color:black;">Restaurant</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> in </span><strong><span style="color:black;">Bloubergstrand</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> Is looking for a </span><strong><span style="color:black;">Pizza Chef.</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="color:black;">Duties:</span></strong></p><p>Prepare and cook artisanal pizzas to the highest standards, ensuring perfect dough, toppings, and baking techniques are consistently applied for every order.</p><p>Manage the pizza section of the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.</p><p>Oversee dough preparation including mixing, kneading, fermenting, and proofing, ensuring texture and flavour align with the restaurants premium standards.</p><p>Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop innovative pizza recipes.</p><p>Ensure precise and timely service during busy periods, coordinating with other kitchen sections to deliver a seamless dining experience.</p><p>Monitor inventory and stock levels, ordering ingredients as necessary while minimizing waste and adhering to the restaurant's cost control measures.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Culinary Certificate/Diploma</p><p>Preferably 2-3 years previous experience as a Chef De Partie with focus on pizza making</p><p>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour.</p><p>Expertise in pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, proofing, stretching, and baking in wood-fired or speciality ovens</p>
