About the Role
Our Premium Brand automotive dealer client in Boksburg is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead their Service Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to grow and develop skills within the department, while maintaining excellent customer relations and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhanced customer relations.
- Maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customers.
- Supervision of staff, management of performance, discipline, and other staff management related functions.
- Ensure Service Department achieves budget objectives through daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls, and composite figures.
- Ensure efficient operation of the Service Department through efficient labour utilization, productivity, and sales.
- Ensure excellence in customer service.
- Maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure for the Service Department is in line with budgeted labour sales.
- Effectively communicate with OE (Original Equipment) and drive their various standards.
Requirements
- Matric
- Qualified Technician (Motor Mechanic related Trade Qualification)
- Relevant post-matric qualification in Management will be an advantage
Qualifications
- Fully computer literate – Microsoft package
- Relevant Drivers License
