Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and mechanically join sheets, plates, tubes, pipes, and steel sections.
• Perform heat treatment processes on engineering metals.
• Maintain belt conveyor components.
• Attend to call-outs regarding breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure that engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards and specifications.
• Maintain engineering equipment according to agreed standards and schedules.
• Repair engineering equipment when required, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Contribute to a competent, positive, and motivated team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade Certificate – Boilermaker
• A Senior Certificate – Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid Trade Certificate
• Minimum 5 years experience after completion of Trade in a Chrome Ore beneficiation and ROM Plant
• Crushing, screening & conveyor belt experience
• Own reliable transport – not negotiable
• Medically fit & no criminal record
• Plant/Mining experience
