Job Summary
The Reservations Manager will co-ordinate and supervise all staff that are employed in the Central Reservations Department by training and motivating the team to deliver quality service and meet financial targets. Together with managing the reservations process and operation for the Lodge & Hotel Group.
Candidate
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience managing a call centre and reservations department for multiple properties
- Have a good command of the English language, with excellent writing skills
- Must have great interpersonal skills and must be a team player
- Be able to manage a team well
- A self-starter that is dynamic and flexible
- Must have excellent Problem-Solving skills
- Be a professional and presentable individual
- Have relevant computer skills – Microsoft Office, especially with good Excel Skills, eRES / Nebula, Opera & Apex
- Previous experience working on a Central Reservations System as well as PMS systems essential
- Excellent administration and reporting skills needed
- Valid RSA ID essential
